Invitation for the Opening SCREENDANCING – A Retrospective of Berlin Club Visuals <<< Friday, May 7th 2010 I 8:00pm <<<.HBC, Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse 9, 10178 Berlin We would like to invite you to the opening of our the exhibition SCREENDANCING – A Retrospective of Berlin Club Visuals at .HBC Berlin on Friday, May 7th 2010, at 8:00pm A video performance used to be a material element of a Berlin club night of the late nineteen nineties. The artists called themselves VJs, their practice fused club architecture, light show, video art and media reflexion. Screendancing makes this milestone of Berlin underground culture systematically accessible for the first time. The exhibition which is funded the Capital Cultural Fund presents Video Works of visomat inc., Lillevan, Daniel Pflumm, Jörg X. Franzmann, monitor.automatique, JUTOJO, u-matic und Pfadfinderei. The show takes place Mai 7th until June 3rd 2010, from thursdays to saturdays from 2pm-10pm. The exhibition is documented on www.screendancing.net and also include a series of life performances of the artists.
