After three succesful competitions in 2011, 2012 and 2013 on the 11th July 2014 the award-ceremony will be held for the fourth time by ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, Cyberforum e.V. and their partners.

The
Prize honors the best artworks in app format that represent advanced
artistic applications. Besides artistic aspects the creative integration
as well as the use of options offered by new technologies is important.
The
AppArtAwards categories for 2014 are ÂPrize for Artistic InnovationÂ,
ÂSpecial Prize for Art+ScienceÂ, ÂSpecial Prize for Sound Art and Â
Special Prize for Crowd ArtÂ. Apps for the AppArtAward 2014 may be
submitted from March 10 to May 11.Â
Have you developed an artistic App? If so, then apply with your App for the AppArtAward 2014. A well-known jury will select the winner in each of the categories.
