Come and see screenings, images, installations and meet graduating students from University of Sussex's BA Media Practice degree. Theirs was a rich and varied three-year journey, beginning with the study of a range of media in their first year and progressing to focus on a single medium. As finalists, each of the students (working individually or in groups) spent the entire year researching, planning, building, (and rebuilding) these projects. The work spans multiple media: sound, photography, documentary video, digital media, animation and screen drama.
We are privileged this year to have legendary photographer Marilyn Stafford opening the show with a short presentation of her work which dates back to documenting Albert Einstein in his domestic setting in the 1940s. She moved to Paris where Magnum founders Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson and other friends were instrumental in shaping her work.
