hi everybody,
just a short sad notice from tirana. last night there was an attempt to 
assasinate the newly elected mayor of Tirana, Edi Rama. the oposition 
Democratic Party, led by the already mad Berisha, after the heavy loss in 
the local elections, is trying everything now in a desperate last effort. 
last night, at about 20.30, while Edi Rama was sitting on his parents flat 
on the 4th floor (he doesn't have a house of his own). fortunately the two 
Jullets entered the kitchen room, while he was on the other room, watching TV.
even though there's no official outcome of the investigation yet,, there's 
only one person that would like to see Edi Rama dead. this person, Berisha, 
tried to frighten him, by beating him almost to death in 1997, when he was 
loosing power, and now tried the last thing. and think that there's still 
people that supports him in Europe.

luckily this thing failed, and let's hope that it is really the end for 
somebody 

that is keeping Albania hostage to unrest.
