The mad link between the cyclone and surging Indian e-commerce is
characteristic of the larger link between death, money and the net. All
spectacles of death in south asia recently have seen the Indian
netcompanies surging to join,,,

Orissa is not the first. The kargil war saw a surge of nationalist
passions where sites pushed for doinations.. 

The "iridium" site is more - the link between death and the advertisement
is direct, never mind that the company does not release the figures of its
internet/hit meter...
