sciences as well as the humanities and invites senior academic guests for
longer periods. The Collegium Helveticum organises seminars, workshops and
symposia on issues involving a transdisciplinary perspective and seeks to
include the public context actively in its work.

> The artist-in-residence is expected to participate in the intellectual and
social life of the Collegium Helveticum. This includes communication about
artistic processes and an interest in the diverse material and discussions
at the collegium; a command of German and/or English is essential.

> During the academic year 2002/2003 the Collegium will focus on the topics
of narrativity and narrative structures in science and art. The artist in
residence is supposed to develop a project relating to these areas of
investigation in collaboration with the collegiates and scientific staff of
the collegium.

the stay in Zurich. Working space, technical facilities (digital video
equipment) and material will be provided.
