Transformation als Anlass und Thema
post theater inszeniert das Team aus dem Büro des Theater am Halleschen
Ufer. Es handelt sich dort um ausgebildete Performer / Choreographen, deren
Ethik es bisher verbat, sich auf die Bühe zu stellen, für die sie täglich
arbeiten. post theater inszeniert aber auch die Räume des THU Gebäudes. Das
Haus spiegelt die  Geschichte seiner Bewohner / Benutzer wider. Es ist die
Geschichte vieler Transformationen. Auch dieses Jahr werden, wieder neue
Menschen dieses Theater übernehmen..
turnover reflektiert die Beziehung des Teams zu seinem Haus. In einer
surreale Führung werden die Zuschauer an Menschen und ungewöhnliche Orte
herangeführt, Die Architektur und die Choreographien, die auf diese
Architektur reagieren, erzählen Geschichten, unter anderem:
Was passierte mit dem Koch, der hier arbeitete? Warum gibt es einen
Schein-Speicher? Wie ist es, in einem Schaufenster zu arbeiten? Kann man mit
einer oberirdischen U-Bahn tanzen?

Site Specific Multi Media Installationen
Hiroko Tanahashi hat Multi Media Arbeiten an Orte im Theater am Halleschen
Ufer installiert. Alle Videos sind am Ort gedreht und reflektieren die
jeweilige architektonische Situation. Somit rekonfiguriert sie die Spielorte
für die Performer. Die Grenzen zwischen gegebenem, imaginiertem und
transformiertem Raum werden fliesssend.
Mit ihren Interventionen stellt sie auch die Frage nach dem
Inszenierungsprozess: Sie macht die Vorgaben an die Choreographien, die sich
Hirokos Projektionen anpassen müssen. Ihre Installationen sind aber auch das
Produkt der Auseinandersetzung mit der biographischen Situation der
Performer, der Angestellten des Theaters. Es bleibt dem Publikum überlassen
zu entscheiden, wessen Kunstwerk sie da wahrnehmen. Das der Performer? Der
Dramaturgie? Der Medienkünstlerin?

A guided tour through site specific multi-media performances

Transformation as occasion and theme
post theater creates a unique guided tour through the Theater am Halleschen
Ufer showing unusual parts of the building, giving new perspectives on the
house, and introducing the performance qualities of the people who work
there. The Theater am Halleschen Ufer has changed a lot and will again
transform soon. In 5 pieces people who work there now artistically reflect
upon their experiences with and their fantasies about the building. A
surreal evening that is transforming spaces and the relationship between
audience and performers. What happened to the cook in the desolate
restaurant on the ground floor? Why is there a fake attic with so many floor
rolls? How is it like to be working in a shopping window? And can the upper
ground underground be a live video image to dance with?

Site specific multi media work
In "Turnover (House, Unsettled)" all video works and their installations are
shot on location and include the found spaces not only as frame but as
content to the artwork. Hence, post theater offers site specific multi media
installations. These multi media installations provide sounds and visuals
and a re-configured space to the performers - as a frame for their
performances. post theater offers a space and time frame that is filled with
the choreography of the performers themselves.

Who's work?
This work corresponds with the artistic mission of post theater to blur
artistic responsibility and authority. Who is the director? Who is the
creator? The concept of linear and top-to-bottom direction is questioned.
This approach guarantees more space for the autobiographic material of the
performers - who are working at the Theater am Halleschen Ufer. The audience
will be left puzzled when asking who's artwork they perceived - the
choreographers'? The dancers'? The multi media designer's?
