CALL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT


" M A R U B I ' 2000 "


"MARUBI '2000" is a Contemporary Photography Exhibition which shall take
place in the National Gallery of Arts in Tirana from March 25 till April
15. This exhibit is an initiative of the National Gallery of Arts financed
by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Albania.

-	There are no criteria regarding the medium used in producing of the
photography, neither regarding the medium used in producing the
photography, neither regarding the genre used by the artist.
-	There are no criteria regarding the size of the work presented for
participants.
-	The work presented for participation must have been produced during the
period March '99 - March 2000.
-	The number of works to be presented for participation in the show must
not exceed the number 2 (two).
-	The works must be carefully packed for transport reasons.
-	The National Gallery of Arts in Tirana covers the transportation costs
>from each country to Tirana and back.
-	The National Gallery of Arts in Tirana shall provide a catalogue after
the opening of the exhibit which shall be made available to all the
participants.
-	The National Gallery in Tirana shall provide all necessary material to
presenting of the works in the show (i.e. glass, frames, etc.)
-	The selection shall be made by an International Jury composed of two
Albanian members and two international figures in the world of photography
(to be announced).
-	The author must provide two photos of the works (10 x 15 cm) which will
be used for the catalogue.
-	Dead line for applications is 5 Mars 2000.
-	Works can be posted to: Galeria Kombëtare e Arteve, Bul. "Dëshmorët e
Kombit".
