Culture Castles Friday 10th March (£25 including lunch) Venue : Tate Gallery Liverpool An event hosted by FACT as part of THE OTHER SIDE OF ZERO: VIDEO POSITIVE 2000 which explores the ways in which spaces for the production, dissemination and exhibition of art are being redefined by new media practices. Bringing together a group of artists, designers and architects, Culture Castles will take a look at how the galleries, cinemas and media centres of the 20th century are morphing into 21st century cultural palaces. How new media technologies are altering the locations for art practice and how artist/architect collaborations are re-shaping physical locations.
