Opening up of LEONARDO DA VINCI programme to the Baltic States and Slovenia _________________________________________________________________ Update Date : 1996-05-14 Record Control Number : 6113 Category : Tender General Information : The European Commission, DG XXII, has launched an open invitation to tender for a study on the opening up of the LEONARDO DA VINCI action programme to the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) and Slovenia. The Commission seeks to appoint an organization to carry out a study on the opening up of the LEONARDO DA VINCI programme for the implementation of Community policy in relation to professional training to the Baltic States and Slovenia. The aims of the study are as follows: - To examine the countries' national priorities in relation to professional training and the capacity of their systems and mechanisms with regard to participation in the LEONARDO DA VINCI programme; - To undertake a primary analysis of the potential impact of the LEONARDO DA VINCI programme on policies and practices in these countries in relation to professional training; - To make proposals concerning the participation of these countries in the LEONARDO DA VINCI programme. The contract will last from 1 October 1996 to 30 June 1997. Interested organizations must furnish evidence of their experience in carrying out a similar study, and their experience of working with the Baltic States and Slovenia. They should also show their knowledge of the professional training field and of Community programmes in this area. Full tender documents may be obtained from the European Commission.
