Re: Syndicate: cinema in tirana |
GREAT! I even suggested to the minister of culture, Edi Rama, to organise an open air cinema on the great place in Tirana, showing good films once a week in Summer evenings.  Peter +-------------------------------------------------------------------- | PHAROS International - Bureau for Cultural Projects | Peter Rebernik, Dipl.-Ing. | Anton Baumgartner-Str. 44/C2/3/2 | A - 1230 Wien / AUSTRIA | Tel.: (+43 1) 667 7375; Fax: (+43 1) 667 2984 | Mobiltel.: (+43 664) 230 2767 | Email: peter@rebernik.at / Web: www.rebernik.at+--------------------------------------------------------------------This mail is a natural product. The slight variations in spelling andgrammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are tobe considered flaws or defects. -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht-----Von: Edi <ediqnk@albaniaonline.net>An: syndicate@aec.at <syndicate@aec.at>Datum: Montag, 2. August 1999 09:46Betreff: Syndicate: cinema in tirana finally albania is not any more the only country in the world without a cinema hall. with a strong initiative and even stronger perserverance from the ministry of culture, cinema "millennium" opened saturday 31 of july. it is a modern cinema hall which opened showing first the documentary albanian film from Anri Sala "Intervista-finding the words" and continuing with the fiction "the mumy". this was an event that became possible only due to the support from the minister of culture Edi Rama, who insisted a lot in the albanian government and parliament to sustain the private initiative to open the cinema. finally tirana now has its fist cinema and soon there are hopes to have more even in other cities.  edi.
