-------------------------------------------- FLASHLIGHTS final list of nominees - screening 8th March http://www.pandaemonium.org.uk/ -------------------------------------------- The final selection of FLASHLIGHTS is now available to the public on the PANDÆMONIUM server. The flashlights award will be given to one artist on the 8th or March, the same day as the public screening of the works at the LUX centre in Hoxton Square, London. Flashlights is curated by Florian Clausz and Micz Flor. I-D Media sponsored the Flashlights competition, donating also the £1,000 cash prize and trophy to the winning film. The decision is being made jointly by a curatorium, consisting of the curators, and one representative of the Pandaemonium film festival and the web development, mute (critical information services) magazine and I-D Media. Shorts, trailers, blurbs, clips and movies are all eligible for consideration. Where originally conceived for the small monitor, this is a unique opportunity to get them on the big screen at the Lux Cinema.
